Book 40 : The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Written by C.S.Lewis. This book is the first published book in the Chronicles of Narnia Series. There are two camps of people, when it comes to how, exactly, one should read these books. Most people think that you should read them in the published order (which is not actually in chronological order) and others think that you should read them in chronological order... I decided to read them in the published order, so it would be:
The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe
Prince Caspian
Voyage of the Dawn Treader
The Silver Chair
The Horse and his Boy
The Magician's Nephew
The Last Battle
I very much avoided reading this book, for YEARS. Partially because I had started it when I was younger, and thought it was boring, and partially because everyone went ON and ON and ON about the Christian-ness in it... All in all, it was a good book, but I liked the movie better... I feel that way about very, very few books, for the record.
